Welcome back to the Glamour Magick Beauty blog! I know it’s been a few days since I’ve updated but I’ve been collecting checks. How has Venus in Libra been treating y’all? Have you been staying consistent with your glamour magic? Let me know in them comments below! Today I’m here to talk about the benefits of Vitamin E for skin and show off two of my favorite products that you can add to your beauty ritual.
Vitamin E has a laundry list of benefits that include, brightening, reducing inflammation, and hydration. It’s also awesome if you’re looking to heal wounds and scars or looking for a natural anti-aging product. According to the Internet those who suffer from skin conditions such as psoriasis, sunburn, eczema could use a little Vitamin E as well. If I’ve convinced you that this is an ingredient you need in your life, keep reading to see some of my favorite Vitamin E packed products below.
Palmer’s Skin Success with Vitamin E is Hands down the best brightening/fading products I’ve ever used. I’ve used this product for years and it’s still the BEST. It’s a Hydroquinone Free Fade Cream that I use as a spot treatment only since it’s pretty strong. It comes in an oily skin formula too but both work wonders. You can find this at Wal-Mart or of course online. It claims to give visible results within 2 weeks but in my experience this stuff works overnight. It smells nice and is very gentle on the skin. I only rub this in if I’m leaving the house, otherwise I dot it or cover the dark area with it and let it sit. It sinks into the skin in a matter of minutes. Thank me later.
I haven’t used De La Cruz’s Vitamin E Cream for nearly as long as the Palmer’s but I thoroughly enjoy this product as well. This is a gentle moisturizer that can be applied all over the face. It’s a bit heavy, so it’s great if for those with dry skin. If you’re oily like myself, apply it at night. It smells lovely like the Palmer’s but its brightening properties are not nearly as strong. I consider this a “general” or “all purpose” moisturizer that’s great for anyone. I may have picked this up from either my local LatinX grocer or Wal-Mart. If you’re interested in trying it any general Vitamin E moisturizer should do, but I like how this one has 10,000 IU’s of Vitamin E.
Have y’all tried Vitamin E on your skin and if so, what was your experience? I’ve tried the oil and the capsules on my face but it’s just too heavy, these products are much better for me.
