Glamour Magick Beauty’s Haircare of the Moment

Welcome back to Glamour Magick Beauty. In the spirit of the New Moon in Libra and Venus in Sagittarius I treated myself to some new haircare the other day. I’ve been natural so long I’m no longer a product junkie anymore but while on the hunt for a much needed new conditioner, I of course ended up picking up a few more goodies. I’ll review these shortly but let’s take a look.

Briogeo is a Black owned brand that I’ve tried in the past that I remember liking but honestly it’s been so long I need to try them again to really know. I have 3c/4a natural hair that’s high porosity and full of flyaways so I look for products that promote soft, smooth, and hydrated hair without heavy silicones. I’ve never tried a conditioner from Briogeo so I’m looking forward to trying it.

I’m all out ecstatic to try the Leave-In defining creame because it’s specifically formulated for curly hair. My hair is getting longer so I need more product outside of conditioner now and I definitely need more moisture to maintain my length. Hopefully this one is a keeper.

I don’t see myself even using this. It was just a gift that came with the purchase. I don’t use heat anymore and have no intention of using it for at least the next 18 months.

The conditioning spray also came with the gift with purchase. I believe this is actually one of the first products I tried from Briogeo years ago but I used it for blow drying my hair. I recall liking the thickening effect of it. Now that I’m wearing my hair curly I’ll use it on my ends and edges see how it works.

If you’re a curly girl who’s tried these products let me know in the comments how you like them. Check out my post about hair magic for ideas on how to apply hair products and hair care in beauty and glamour rituals. Venus Day Glamour Magick Beauty Podcast episodes are also up. Talk to y’all again soon…
